In 2015 we shipped two containers with non-perishable goods and medical supplies to help fight the ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. The items that were shipped included, non-perishable food items (such as rice, vegetable oil, beans etc) used clothing, hand sanitizers, chlorine tablets etc.
We colaborated with our local partners to distribute these items in areas that were quarantined by the government as a measure to reduce the spread of the Ebola virus. Some of the items included in the container are:
Staff of Street Child and ADSL distributing some of the items during an "Ebola lockdown". More than 1000 people denefited. The event was aired on local TV and reported in the media.
Staff of Pikin Biznes collecting some of the items donated to them.
