Help for Quarantined Areas in Sierra Leone

In 2015 we shipped two containers with non-perishable goods and medical supplies to help fight the ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. The items that were shipped included, non-perishable food items (such as rice, vegetable oil, beans etc) used clothing, hand sanitizers, chlorine tablets etc.

We colaborated with our local partners to distribute these items in areas that were quarantined by the government as a measure to reduce the spread of the Ebola virus. Some of the items included in the container are: 

  • 16000 Pairs of disposable gloves
  • 8000 Chlorine tablets
  • 3000 Kgs of rice
  • 70 Boxes of used clothing
  • 38 Boxes of used toys
  • 10 Boxes of used shoes
  • > 20 boxes of medical supplies.
